Kochere Debo - Espresso - Washed Coffee

This is by no means a new find for us as we have loved coffees from Kochere for many years. However due to changes in the ECX (Ethiopian Commodities Exchange) we can open up the traceability information and now say this is from the Debo Washing station.

The Debo washing station was established in 2000 and is managed by Masreshu Sima in partnership with Faysel Yonis. Debo buys cherry from 800 smallholder farmers and is located in the Gedeo Zone of Yirgacheffe.

Yirgacheffe is part of the Sidamo region in southern Ethiopia and their main harvest is in November to December. This will be our last Ethiopian coffee until the new harvest which will arrive in Spring 2019
