We return again to the town of Werka and the stunning coffees produced in this area of Ethiopia. This year we have chosen a natural processed coffee, produced by small holder farmers in the Woreda zone of the Sidamo region.
The Gora Kone washing station has been in operation since 2011 and is owned by Faysel Yonis, who we had the pleasure of travelling with last year. Faysel’s company Testi (meaning happy in Harrari) owns many washing stations throughout Ethiopia’s regions. Quality coffee and social projects are fundamental to the company and also to him.
We adore this coffee and it’s playful fruity, almost bubblegum like flavour profile will not disappoint.
