From prestigious varietals to experimental fermentation methods, Marysabel and her husband Moises are renowned for producing exceptional coffees. We have been working with them for years, and we always look forward to their fresh crop arriving at the roastery.
This coffee is a large mixed lot of Catuai from across several plots. There can be an assumption that smaller plots lend to higher quality - this coffee cups at 85 points. It is testament to the standards at Caballero and what they are achieving at their farm. This beautiful coffee is complex, winey and sweet.
We have been lucky enough to visit Marysabel and Moises twice at their farm, and were honoured to have them come to our roastery in Bath. More recently, we caught up with them at the World of Coffee festival in Copenhagen in June. We are very proud to be showcasing their coffee, and to continue our relationship with two of the kindest and most hard-working people we know.
